Chit Ledger is a simulator for rotating chit-fund bidding. It works on your own device and does not need an account.

What we collect

We do not collect, store or receive your personal information or your chit-fund data. We have no user accounts and no servers that hold your data.

What stays on your device

The funds, members, bids and settings you enter are saved only in your device's own browser storage. Deleting the app's data, or clearing your browser's site data, removes them. We cannot recover them for you, so use the Export tab to keep a backup.

Sharing a fund

When you choose "Share link", the fund's details are packed inside the link itself. The app does not upload it anywhere. Whoever receives the link, and any messaging app you send it through, can see that data, so share it only with people you trust.

Third-party services

• Fonts: the app loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your device's IP address and basic request details when fonts load.
• PDF reports: when you create a PDF, the app loads a PDF library from a public content-delivery network, which may receive your IP address.
• Advertising (website only): the website version may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings. The Android app does not show ads.

Children

Chit Ledger is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated.
